Over the years I have worked as a producer with artists across many traditions and styles. I’ve always seen my role as providing an open ear and being a sounding board to help the artist focus on realizing their personal vision.
Today, many artists create at home and budgets for studio hire and a producer’s involvement are not a priority. But for those who feel they would like to have friendly feedback and ideas for problem solving and making decisions, I’m opening a small, three-month Listening Room for musicians and songwriters wanting to explore a deeper relationship with their own work.
Not so much about career advice, production services, or technical fixes, more about identifying the qualities that make your work unique and making space for that to emerge.
How it works
This is a three-month experience, limited to around 6 participants.
Each month you can share music you’re working on. I’ll listen carefully and give you feedback in a personal zoom session.
Once a month there will also be a live group call on Zoom, a space for conversations about process, doubt, direction, and the decisions that shape meaningful work. Not a critique forum, but a shared listening space,.
There will be an online space for track uploads with a forum for feedback and discussion.
